Workforce Labor Analyst

Purpose:

The Workforce Labor Analyst is responsible for supporting retail store labor by providing ongoing education and support to the field and store teams in areas of scheduling and optimization. This is a key support role to multiple store locations, with labor planning, system maintenance, trend analysis, forecasting, process improvement recommendations and other ad hoc reporting and analyses.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Minimum of 2 years working with Kronos
  • Retail industry experience required
  • Efficient with navigating large data sets from multiple sources
  • Understanding of time keeping (Kronos) processes preferred
  • Proficient skills in Excel, including pivot tables
  • SQL query writing and execution skills preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills required

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support the implementation of Workforce Management solutions including the building and delivery of processes, system configuration, reports, and training. Assure execution of all Workforce Management initiatives by training, supporting, and following up on system functions, business processes, and position expectations.
  • Work with Store Leadership to leverage labor and ensure appropriate staffing coverage while maximizing sales opportunities, operational execution and optimizing customer service.
  • Analyze retail store processes related to payroll and staffing allocation to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and operational changes. Drive opportunities within the business to improve forecasting models and other tools across various business units.
  • Support the Director of Workforce Management in creating and updating the labor/scheduling reporting and dashboards for retail stores and Sr. Leadership.
  • Provide reporting and other data analysis for Store Operations leadership and field teams on a routine basis.
  • Respond to workforce management-related field inquiries, determine root cause to identify potential gaps in processes or documentation and recommend suitable solutions.

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet.
  • Hybrid work offering combining office and remote work.
