We are also proud to rank 48th on Fortune’s 2020 list of the 100 fastest-growing companies. With that growth we are now searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager.

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for creating and implementing recruitment strategies, managing team members performance and reviewing continual process improvements to ensure that Floor & Decor continues to have effective processes to attract, hire, and retain a high quality, diverse workforce.


  • Accountable for leading and coaching, a high-performance Talent Acquisition team, to enhance departmental recruiting practices
  • Drive sourcing innovation, capability and capacity across a geographically dispersed team to proactively build diverse candidate pools to expedite the recruitment of market-leading talent
  • Partner with key business partners to determine current and future talent needs in order to create and drive sourcing strategies and deliver a best in class candidate experience
  • Drive diversity sourcing strategies and methodologies to include delivering diverse candidate pipelines, deliver high-quality candidate slates, implementing successful diversity recruiting channels
  • Leverage sourcing techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates, including employee referrals, databases, search engines, job boards, social media, user groups, and blogs
  • Prepare recruitment reporting, analyze trends and proactively develop ways to improve processes based on data
  • Identify trends and leverage knowledge, data, and competitive intelligence to develop creative, customized recruiting strategies
  • Set team performance goals, metrics, and a formal tracking process to measure and manage KPI’s

Knowledge and Skills

  • Optimize Talent Acquisition team member performance through coaching, listening, training and metrics
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shift priorities efficiently as needed.
  • Work with a strong sense of urgency, balanced with clear communication and purpose
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders and providing sourcing and full life cycle recruiting for a variety of professionals including marketing, human resources, communications, technology, finance and other business service groups
  • Experience optimizing applicant tracking systems and onboarding platforms


  • Minimum six years of progressive senior level corporate and/or agency recruiting experience and a minimum of three years of recruiting team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Applied experience in applicant tracking systems and other related recruiting software Workday experience is preferred

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

  • This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
  • Occasional travel required including air and car travel
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time,but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
