Senior Sourcing Technology and Procurement Operations Analyst

Purpose:

The primary purpose and responsibility of this position is to effectively support Floor and Decor’s Indirect Procurement processes that includes:

  • Managing key sourcing initiative activity at key points of the sourcing methodology lifecycle
  • Overseeing administrative and maintenance of Coupa, an e-Procurement tool (P2P)
  • Developing and reporting out on executive and financial dashboards, including spend analysis, system utilization, and contract expirations among a few 
  • Driving continuous improvement in overall design of the company reporting, including system configuration and process development to optimize critical procurement tools

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree (preferred degree in business management, supply chain, engineering, finance or similar field)
  • The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in Project Management, Sourcing, Procurement Operations, or Analytics/Reporting
  • Working knowledge of sourcing processes, procurement technology, supplier relationship management, and procurement catalog management
  • Professional Association Certification preferred (i.e., CPSM, CPSC, or equivalent), but not required
  • Sound knowledge of retail desired, but not required

Essential Job Functions:

Technology Sourcing & Implementation

  • Make independent business decisions based on enterprise wide stakeholders’ requirements to develop sound solutions to meet needs of the business
  • Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance of the eProcurement platform and requisite data elements
  • Ensure all users, approvals, and workflows are set up in accordance with procurement processes
  • Develop and implement employee training and communication programs
  • Possess good understanding of Accounts Payable best practices & procurement principles
  • Create scenarios to test functionality, enhancements, and revised workflow processes to fully assess user access and permissions 

Cost Management Analytics

  • Capability to design, implement, and update sourcing & procurement tools
  • Familiarity with commodity indexing and ability to develop supporting tools / analytics
  • Develop custom / ad-hoc custom reporting, including forecasting key market trends
  • Articulate analysis into presentation ready deliverables for management and executive level meetings
  • Regular maintenance and updates to spend data Integrity by product category and supplier
  • Very strong excel & modeling capabilities, working knowledge of SQL and Power BI preferred

Bid Package and Contract Management Support

  • Ability to provide Rfxing System & Analytics Support
  • Familiarity with Reverse Auction Setup and Event Management
  • Understanding of Contract Management Support
  • Experience with Supplier Score-carding Analytics Support
  • Exposure to Enterprise-wide Post Contract Administration Support

  • Ability to develop and quickly update a business case
  • General Finance & Accounting Acumen
  • Strong experience with ability to research / troubleshoot everyday issues / concerns

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.
  • This position is non-exempt, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week

PHYSICAL/SENSORY    REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

STORE SUPPORT CENTER ASSOCIATES

Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position.  This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications.  Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations.  All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.
