Job Description:

Purpose

The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing is responsible for creating strategies for and managing the Floor & Decor digital marketing campaigns, including strategic planning, execution, and optimization, in support of ambitious growth objectives. Drive the strategic development of digital marketing programs to yield significantly higher brand awareness, customer engagement, and in-store and online traffic and sales. Lead an integrated approach in creating dynamic marketing programs and campaigns across all digital customer touch points, including paid search, display, and more.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Five to seven years of progressive, relevant experience in digital marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, problem-solving, collaboration, and team building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed goals and drive progressive business results via digital marketing programs.
  • Ability to proactively manage multiple projects and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing landscape, including latest trends and best practices in management, tagging and measurement.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to manage search (paid and organic), display, social media (paid and organic), email, video, local listing, and cross-channel campaigns.
  • Proven success in managing large budgets upwards to drive on-budget, on-goal results.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills, including combining reviewing large data sets in Excel to identify actionable insights, use of Excel pivot tables and vlookups, familiarity with data imports to business intelligence systems such as PowerBI, and ability to use Google Analytics.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and a multi-tasker, handling frequent priority shifts and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and thrives under pressure.
  • Comfortable preparing and presenting executive-ready deliverables and PowerPoint presentations to executive audiences and large groups.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the group.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check.

Essential Functions

  • Plan and execute digital marketing channels, which may include search (paid and organic), display, video, email, local listing, social media (paid and organic), and cross-channel campaigns.
  • Manage significant budget across digital marketing channels, including budget planning and purchase order and invoice management.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs both online and in stores). Identify performance and market trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on findings.
  • Lead cross-functional teams at agencies and internally via clear direction ranging from strategy to execution. Collaborate with agencies and internal stakeholders to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns.
  • Leverage data-driven decision making and analytics skills to drive business results.
  • Fluency in A/B and multivariate testing strategies and tactics.
  • Drive thought leadership and perspective for adoption of emerging digital channels, ad formats, and technological solutions as appropriate.
  • Partner with creative teams internally and at agencies to produce creative assets needed for digital marketing campaigns
  • Partner with broadcast media buying team, digital marketing team, internal stakeholders, and agency council on integrated media and campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Partner with Ecommerce and IT departments, including merchandising, development, analytics, and social reputation teams to execute campaigns and drive business results. Includes technical feed development and management in partnership with IT.
  • Partner with CRM team to understand the customer and design and execute targeted campaigns to reach key customer segments.
  • Partner with regional marketing team to execute market-specific media plan customizations to drive maximum results for each individual market.

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
