Reporting to the Vice President of Technology, the Sr. Manager IT Operations will be responsible for delivery of highly available infrastructure platform services for hosting and management of Floor and Decor business applications in stores and data center / cloud environments. The Sr. Manager IT Operations will supervise a small team of engineers as well as external partners who provide targeted delivery services for the company. They will drive best practices and apply software and systems engineering disciplines to build and run large-scale, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems and be responsible for leading traditional day-to-day management of the infrastructure, platforms and applications including their provisioning, automation, testing, configuration, monitoring and maintenance. This individual will also help to ensure the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning of Floor & Decor’s infrastructure services and will leverage best practices to implement, test, and maintain special;ized application, systems and network platforms.
