The position is targeting a full stack Sr. level developer with an emphasis on front end technologies and development. The candidate will develop end to end solutions that conform to Floor & Decor’s systems standards and methodology.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
5+ years of related job experience in consulting or a corporate environment
Proficiency supporting multiple enterprise level solutions with 5 - 7 years of experience with Java/J2EE Application design
3+ years’ knowledge and experience in full stack development with a front-end focus (phone / mobile development experience would be a plus)
3+ years’ experience with front-end development (React, Angular, JS, phone / mobile development)
3+ years’ experience with back-end development (java, j2ee, Spring, Spring boot, Java Batch)
Experience with CI/CD and deployments (Jenkins, Containerization, E.g. Docker/ Swarm Kubernetes)
Knowledge of database tools (SQL, NoSQL) is a plus
Experience with IT services (Internet, cloud computing, hosting, managed services) is a plus
Experience working on and within an Agile team and framework is a plus
Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Visio)
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Must have strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills as well as relationship building skills
Ability to design, build, and implement solutions for Floor & Decor’s internal business
Effectively participate in project planning, task duration estimation and project artifact compilation within the Agile framework
Ability to work closely, taking inputs from various teams, to solve production issues
Ability to meet quality standards for deliverables with minimum supervision
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Store Support Center Associates
Provide leadership and support training on all Safety programs, processes and procedures, insuring that every associate is properly trained for their position.
Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position. This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations. All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.
