Senior Content Marketing Writer

Purpose

As Senior Writer Content Marketing you will be responsible for a wide variety of content creation. Reporting to the Manager Marketing Copy, you will support traditional copy for advertising, paid media, store, and merchandising. You will also support the Sr. Manager Editorial Content in the creation of blogs, video scripts, organic social media, and our Inspiration Catalog. The ideal candidate will be looking to grow, provide value, and effectively collaborate with content and creative teams.
 

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communications, or Journalism
  • 3+ years of marketing copywriting or otherwise relevant work experience
  • Excellent strategic planning, writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading direct reports
  • Experience developing and implementing copy strategies across a range of channels

Essential Functions

  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Schedule social media content
  • Schedule monthly blog content through CMS
  • Complete writing projects, meeting deadlines and following content requirements in terms of style and project specifications
  • Revise content whenever customers or clients request changes
  • Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and trends
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
