Regional Credit Supervisor

Job Description:

Purpose

This position is responsible for assisting in driving the development and growth of the company’s private label credit card programs and through this, growth of the company’s overall sales and profitability. This role focuses on improving the knowledge and skillset of F&D store associates ability to increase credit sales within their individual stores. Additionally, the person in this role is responsible for the management and development of the other regional credit managers.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three - five years of experience in a related business area
  • Experience in retail management, account management, or a sales driven culture and responsible for individual budget and expenses
  • Self-starter with strong desire to succeed
  • Proven track record of strategy development and implementation of solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the company
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be results oriented, self-starter, self-motivated, focus on goals, and demonstrate a sense of urgency and creative/innovative/forward thinking skills
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized with excellent planning and work prioritization skills
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must pass pre-employment background check

Essential Functions

  • Provide support, training, mentoring, and direction for the proper development of Regional Credit employees on an ongoing basis to ensure maximum performance from all regions 
  • Develops strategies and processes for field credit services to promote performance and efficiency in the completion their job responsibilities
  • Oversee all field credit processes and procedures, assuring high performance of all duties within the area
  • Drive performance initiatives to improve the performance of credit field teams and identify areas of opportunity within the credit field team to drive continuous improvement
  • Develop strategies to address areas identified for improvement, present these strategies in a compelling manner, driving their performance and reporting on success
  • Provide complete weekly analysis of regional credit managers, including management of this team, delivering excellence and driving high-performance in our stores
  • Assist with the development of credit training programs for training store personnel
  • Travel to store locations across company for PLCC program development and store training purposes as needed

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
