Real Estate Reporting Manager

Purpose:

This multi-function position will be primarily responsible for managing and administering the database and mapping software (GIS) needs of the real estate team.  This position will need to exhibit flexibility within this dynamic group, where needs can change quickly. This position will work with senior management team members and must possess the ability to understand needs and deliver solutions in an accurate, timely, and highly professional manner.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Design, Architecture, Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography/GIS
  • Proficient in database administration, design, and maintenance
  • Proficient in GIS system implementation and application
  • 2 years experience in GIS development and/or support including but not limited to: the development of GIS data models; design, deployment, and management of enterprise-scale, versioned SDE geodatabases; the processing and deploying of aerial imagery using ESRI GIS tools and web-enabled map services; the development of interactive web-based mapping and data solutions; the provision of direction and technical support for users; and the development and guidance of data gathering and maintenance processes
  • Experience with NET, Python, SQL, C++ and/or JAVA programming for web interface development and geodatabase development

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages, develops, and maintains real estate database and reporting needs
  • Performs geospatial data processing/ETL and publishing of data into group and company databases
  • Acquires, maintains, and disseminates GIS data in support of activities
  • Maintains currency and completeness of real estate geodatabase data, metadata, and geoportal
  • Ensures completion of data updates and facilitates resolution of data governance/quality issues
  • Controls GIS data security, access, distribution, and retention
  • Troubleshoots and supports end user data compression, versioning, and multi-user editing workflows within geodatabases
  • Implements data security and access controls
  • Implements geodatabase design standards
  • Performs geodatabase administration, configuration, tuning, and performance monitoring
  • Develops and updates spatial views and data views in hand with company data warehouse team
  • Develops geodatabase design documents, metadata, data models, and schemas
  • Assist with predictive model development and design

Working Conditions (travel & environment)

  • This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
  • Occasional travel may be required including air and/or car travel
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet.
