In this position, the Marketing Project Manager will be working closely with several functional areas of the business as well as the creative team to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include evaluating briefs and tickets, resource planning, establishing project timelines and workflow, and assisting in determining effective project communication plans as well monitoring and ensuring the proper execution of those plans. The Marketing Project Manager is a supervisory role with direct reports.
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management and the ability to both create and interpret creative and strategic briefs, identify areas for process improvement, and coordinate with cross discipline team members without direct authority.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
4+ years of experience as a Project Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or applicable work experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of project management systems, Workfront experience strongly preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented
Proven ability to prioritize an extensive project que
Agile development experience or PMP Certification strongly preferred
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure incoming requests have the correct information and specs needed to initiate the project
Independently develop and refine effective workflow processes, scheduling strategy and communication models
Track and escalate projects that are at risk of missing deadlines – working with stakeholders to revise schedules
Work closely with cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization to ensure consistency, evaluate obstacles, and understand their needs and expectations
Enforce adherence to workflow processes and deadlines
Manage, prioritize, and respond to requests coming from all areas of business. Including marketing, merchandising, store ops, company leadership, etc.
Coordinate stakeholders for integrated campaign and media planning
Own projects and tasks from start to finish, identifying roadblocks before they happen and determining milestones and touch points
Serve as the point of contact when resources from multiple areas are assigned to the same project
Manage marketing, campaign and content calendars
Act as an intermediary with all involved parties to a project to ensure consistency and clarity
Interpret requests and identify missing information for accurate execution

Limited travel required including air and car travel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
