Purpose:
The Kronos (UKG) Senior Operations Manager plays a crucial role ensuring maximum value of our Time and Attendance software, UKG Dimensions. Hands-on Senior Manager role providing strategic vision while driving the day-to-day operations. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Kronos, providing guidance and support to end users, F&D operations and cross functional teams. Oversees 2 system administrators/analysts.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
5-7 years of related experience in the time & attendance space; preferred expertise in the Kronos Workforce Dimensions application.
2-3 years of experience managing a team.
Bachelor's Degree.
Experience leading a team of system administrators and analysts
Experience with different modules of Kronos/UKG: Advanced Scheduler, Time & Attendance, etc.
Strong Project Management skills - experience leading cross functional teams through the full lifecycle of projects and workstreams including, Business Analysis, Functional Specification, System Configuration, Design, and Testing.
Strategic and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience with successfully working in a fast-paced environment, supporting 12,000+ non-exempt employees.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel; Proficiency in reporting metrics/data analytics.
SQL skills a plus but not required.
Ability to simultaneously manage and drive core projects.
Strong communication skills.
Sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Essential Job Functions:
The primary focus of this position is to manage the day-to-day support and maintenance of Kronos/Dimensions Workforce applications and to drive related project and initiatives.
Subject matter expert regarding data oversight, system support, system releases/ application releases, testing of system changes, report writing, analyzing business process and driving improvement opportunities.
Responsible for researching and resolving issues, reviewing and correcting process flaws;
Partnering closely with the Payroll, HRIS, Legal, Store Operations and IT technical teams.
Data Integrity: evaluate data within the Kronos/Dimensions platform to ensure consistency and accuracy - Maintain data integrity by running audit queries and analyzing data.
Responsible for the oversite of Kronos Workforce Dimensions configuration, including but not limited to, Clocks setup/maintenance, Business Rules, Attendance, Accruals, Pay Policies, Work Rules, and Integrations.
Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
Ensure system configuration, product enhancements, upgrades, legislative updates, system integration, and production-related issues are effectively managed and delivered in accordance with service-level agreements.
Engage as the business product manager of Kronos/Dimensions (UKG) software and resources with HCM IT, Legal, HR, Store Operations and other cross-functional business partners as well as third-party vendors.
Act as the primary subject matter expert representing Kronos through legal driven discovery, litigation, and legal analytics requests.
Provide subject matter expertise to aid in decision making related to the functional solution.
Provide thought leadership on potential enhancements, methodologies to improve overall experience.
Oversee the continuing effort to enhance the enterprise Kronos experience through process simplification, value-added tools, and timely metric reporting, that the F&D Stores, Distribution Centers and F&D’s corporate office can act on and drive changes in behavior.
Deliver transparent communication to business leadership teams, cross-functional workstreams, and executive stakeholders.
Responsible for End-User training-partner with F&D Learning team to ensure all necessary ongoing training is current.
Manage, coach and develop Kronos System Administrators and Analysts.
Define success metrics for Kronos Time Tracking & Absence to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
Working Conditions (travel & environment)
Hybrid work offering combining office and remote work (3 days in the Corporate Office).
Limited travel required including air and car travel for Kronos related events / store visits.
