Project Manager – Scrum Master

Purpose:

This position will act as an Agile Project Manager for multiple IT teams. As Agile Project Manager, they will be responsible for the teams meeting facilitation, process cadence, JIRA management, and promoting collaboration. They will be following the team closely to assist with process improvement and team chemistry. This role is crucial in building a high performing team that will be stable and productive over the entirety of each project. With strong leadership and communication skills, the Agile Project Manager can problem solve and install a framework for continuous delivery.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • 3-5 years Scrum Master experience
  • Proficient in Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Retail Industry experience
  • Strong Communication and Organization skills
  • Build relationships with team members, external stakeholders, IT leaders, external vendors, etc.
  • 2+ years JIRA experience

Essential Job Functions:

  • Run scrum stand up meetings on a two-week sprint
  • Run retrospective meetings and relaying ideas to management
  • Assisting in pre-sprint planning to increase effectiveness of the Sprint Planning time
  • Strongly and continually promote effort to achieve 100% of the sprint goal
  • Coordinating IT Leadership to attend sprint demos and provide relevant data
  • Producing end-of-sprint reports as information radiator
  • Coordinating inter-departmental meetings to discover cross-team dependencies and to coordinate sprint timelines
  • Attended weekly scrum-of-scrums meetings and shared the team work for the sprint to ensure other teams were aware of items that may affect them
  • Regularly updating the Jira with changes from the team ceremonies
  • Help to manage dashboards and metrics for the team to specifically analyze the previous 14 days of work (related to the sprint cycle)
  • Act as Project Manager expert for the team with any projects team members own
  • Onboarding new team members to the process and ceremonies
  • Assist the Agile Coach in cross-team initiatives

WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL & ENVIRONMENT):

  • Frequent travel required including air and car
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.  The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY    REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
