This position is responsible for identifying and effectively documenting user problems to be solved (requirements, user stories) and working closely with the Digital Experience Manager on associated roadmaps to meet customer expectations and business goals for their digital product - flooranddecor.com. This position is a key contributor to the success of flooranddecor.com in the market and seeks to drive revenue and enhanced customer experience through product evolution, enhancement and optimization efforts. The ability to demonstrate positive performance and increased competitiveness for the digital product is highly important to success in this role. Minimum Eligibility Requirements
2+ years of digital project management and/or business analyst experience
1+ years of eCommerce experience ideally with Salesforce CommerceCloud / Demandware
Stakeholder management experience with groups such as eComm, marketing, merchandising, UX designers, and development teams
Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodology
Exposure to and understanding of key UX (user experience) concepts and processes
Strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Experience with presenting to Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with a team to execute tasks and projects and achieve desired results
Must be organized and possess strong problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Must pass pre-employment background check
Experience with eCommerce checkout and/or supply chain knowledge ideal but not required
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Gathers input from stakeholders including eComm, marketing, and merchandising
Participates in product backlog prioritization process
Assists with product backlog management, including backlog refinement, and prioritizing development based on business need while integrating efforts wherever feasible (cross-team, cross-platform, cross-initiative)
Derives and communicates recommendations for product enhancements and new capabilities, partnering with leadership to prioritize based on business/competitive need and feasibility
Documents business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for projects and backlog items, and confirms/validates with key stakeholders.
Chases down gaps in requirements, data structure etc. to ensure complete requirements.
Partners with analytics team to determine success criteria/KPIs for the product and new features
Engages and collaborates with UX designers for the creation of designs that reflect business requirements
Conducts competitive research to identify best-in-class experiences and key trends
Provides business insight during solution implementation/interpretation of business requirements, educating project teams on user problems and evaluating relative development solutions
Partners with QA to ensure proper testing scenarios are captured and executed
Provides subject matter expertise in digital user experience, usability, information architecture
Advocates for an aligned customer experience across customer touchpoints including email, CRM, and customer care
Reviews analytics to identify opportunity areas for product improvement
Limited travel required
