Job Description:

PURPOSE
The Call Center Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Call Center Manager in the day-to-day operation of the call center. He/she will lead a team of Call Center Specialists and ensure quality service and accurate product information is provided professionally, courteously and consistently to our online shoppers. In addition, the Call Center Supervisor is responsible for training and developing new hires and existing staff.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act and work in a manner that is consistent with the company’s core values
  • Ensure that all phone calls and customer communications are being answering immediately
  • Provide directions to all Call Center Specialists to ensure a highly attentive and accurate level of customer service
  • Complete all product specialist certification courses
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of merchandise and installation
  • Assist in validating the overall merchandising, pricing and organization of the website
  • Communicate SOP direction and changes to all associates in a timely manner
  • Assist customers with product questions and selections
  • Process customer order via the company’s website
  • Process customer refunds and exchanges according to company guidelines
  • Assist the Call Center Manager with any other needs associated with the call center


MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Three years of high-volume inbound call center experience with two years providing supervision in a customer service support environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
  • Must possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills
  • Must be self-motivated and results driven
  • Strong computer skills (including MS Office)


WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)

  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.


PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
