CRM Analytics Manager

Job Description:

Purpose

This position will be responsible for creating & leading our analytics strategy surrounding the CRM program to improve our connected customer experience across all channels. This position will work cross-functionally to play a key role in helping F&D better understand our customers, their complete buying journey from brand exposure to post-purchase, and how they interact with our brand across multiple touchpoints.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Statistics, Computer Science or Marketing (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise CRM solution required; Salesforce Commerce Cloud strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in CRM / database marketing strategy & execution.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic business outcomes, with a structured and data driven approach to business problem solving.
  • Experience building visualizations and dashboards via BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Must be highly analytical, enjoy working with data, and be able to provide data-driven rationale for new projects & initiatives.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as cross functionally with multiple teams, from leading the strategy to execution to success measurement.
  • Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel required.
  • Proficiency in SQL preferred; knowledge of R a plus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics & expertise in web analytics strongly preferred.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and possess strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal integrity, humility, and an appreciation for the power of true teamwork.

Essential Job Functions

  • Partner with marketing team to lead analytics strategy & execution, leading directly & measurably to improved campaign performance and incremental conversions/revenue.
  • Quickly become subject matter expert in our CRM data and how to best leverage its value, including leading cross-channel analyses from multiple data platforms and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Support cross-functional stakeholders by leading measurement strategy, KPI selection, and methodology to determine incremental value.
  • Help establish & refine data-driven customer personas to optimize messaging around demographic and behavioral audience segmentation.
  • Implement, organize & maintain customer data tracking across all channels.
  • Proactively identify strategic opportunities & provide recommendations based on ad hoc data mining of CRM ecosystem.
  • Become a thought leader in how to measure our customers’ experiences with our brand.
  • Become a customer data advocate/evangelist across the company.  Train & guide various business units in how they can gain value from our data
  • Establish & lead self-serve reporting/analysis strategy.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and establish reporting to support decision-making across the company (e.g. marketing, ecommerce, store ops, merchandising, & customer care).
  • Partner with IT & Marketing to help manage & monitor controls for CRM data cleanliness.
  • Perform regular gap analyses on our customer data ecosystem, including implementing best practices and programs to improve data collection.

Working Conditions (travel,   environment)

  • Occasional travel required including air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.  The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
