The Floor & Decor team is seeking a dynamic Contract Recruiter to support our staffing needs in our Distribution Centers around the country. The Contract Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates. In addition to coordinating the interview and hiring process. Ultimately, you’ll employ your specialized skills and network to help us find the best talent to join our teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with all facets of recruiting and onboarding success including: posting and managing requisitions within an ATS, advertising job openings, reviewing and screening resumes, scheduling interviews and ensuring an effective and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Thoroughly understands business operations and goals to ensure the division is continually fully staffed for current and future needs
  • Builds strong partnerships with internal customers (operational leaders, hiring managers, human resources) through continuous and timely communication, accurate reporting and staffing success
  • Determines applicant qualifications by reviewing resumes and job requirements

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience with knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Prior experience recruiting/sourcing labor, light industrial candidates preferred
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine and anticipate staffing needs
  • Identify warehouse facility support talent for our US Distribution Centers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions independently

WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)

Limited travel required travel required including air and car travel while performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally/frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
