Communications Project Coordinator

Purpose:

Communications Project Coordinator reports to the Senior Manager, Internal Communications & Events and assists with all communications for the organization and team projects. This position is responsible for working with the team on editing and developing communications, supporting timelines, booking meetings, and serving as the leading administrative partner for the team.    

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (experience with Smart Brevity a plus) 
  • Extremely organized  
  • Detail oriented  
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and work with management/partners to prioritize  
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment  
  • Experience with ThinkTime and SharePoint a plus 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work closely with various team members on production and prioritization  
  • Assist team as needed on multiple projects  
  • Assist with calendar maintenance, including scheduling, creating meeting agendas, and providing well-organized notes/meeting recaps 
  • Maintain communications metrics for reporting to partners 
  • Support various communication channels such as ThinkTime, SharePoint, Magic Info, etc. 
  • Assist with all communications and communication projects  
  • Manage project timelines, provide status updates, and deliver final assets  
  • Create and maintain invites and Microsoft Planner tasks for the team 
  • Communicate and adhere to production timelines   
  • Contribute to awards/presentation process as needed ​ 

WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL & ENVIRONMENT):

  • Frequent travel required including air and car
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.  The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY    REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
