Purpose

The PRO Premier/Commercial Sales team is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to help support the growth of the Commercial Sales team. This position is responsible for the development, support and overall growth of our Commercial Sales department, through complete ownership of Salesforce initiatives. This Salesforce Admin will oversee and optimize Sales Dashboards, on-going reporting, data cleanups, and general Salesforce management to help identify areas of opportunity for improvement and execution of initiatives that will arise. This individual will be the "go-to" person for all things related to Salesforce for Floor and Decor's Commercial business. This person will need to be a self-starter and be able to proactively search for opportunities to improve Salesforce for the Commercial team. This role must also be able to effectively communicate updates, opportunities and results to a wide array of audiences from Salespeople to Commercial Sales Leadership. This person will also need to be an expert in Salesforce.com and have a broader understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must possess significant experience in Salesforce.com and an understanding of CRM
  • Ability to configure and maintain Salesforce custom objects, record types, permission sets, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, customer workflows, approval processes, and installed packages
  • Ability to manage data imports and knowledge of database de-duping and cleanup
  • Self-starter with strong desire to succeed
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the company
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized with excellent planning and work prioritization skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically while handling potentially complex issues

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 3 years of Salesforce.com Administration experience, Administrator certification is desired

  • Experience updating Salesforce.com configuration to provide improved solutions
  • Strong Data Analysis and Salesforce Reporting Skills which will allow you to turn Data into Action
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Retail/Commercial Sales background is desired but not necessary for this role

Essential Job Functions

  • Drive growth, manage, maintain and oversee key initiatives related to Salesforce
  • Configuration and maintain Salesforce custom objects, record types, permission sets, fields, reporting/dashboards, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, customer workflows, approval processes, and installed packages
  • Maintain user roles and system access
  • Ability to gather requirements, translate those requirements into a Salesforce design, and understand the impact/minimize the risk those changes would have on the current organization.
  • Enhance user experience in Salesforce
  • Work closely with Commercial Sales team to drive implementation of key projects and programs
  • Prepare reporting and presentations for executive level updates regarding Salesforce initiatives
  • Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives

Working Conditions (travel,   environment)

  • This position is hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week.
  • Occasional travel, 5-10%, is to be expected including air and car travel
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate
