Business Analyst, Recruiting Operations

The Business Analyst will be integral to the team’s success, organizing and executing a wide variety of activities, ensuring the seamless execution of the talent acquisition activities for the organization.  Position Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of exploratory analyses that help us identify opportunities for improvement and process
  • Partner closely with recruiting leaders to develop actionable, measurable initiatives and programs that accelerate recruiting growth, improve recruiter productivity, and funnel metrics
  • Create easy-to-consume dashboards of key metrics working within our existing systems and tool
  • This role will work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to ensure adherence to timeliness of updates and that all systems are functioning as expected
  • Own recruiting process documentation to ensure all processes are up-to-date and recorded.
  • Be a liaison with internal departments who consume HR data to ensure data integrity and performance
  • Serve as the primary contact for support and maintenance of the applicant tracking system in Workday including researching and resolving escalated ATS issues. 
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of Workday upgrades and patches before roll-out to end user. 
  • Oversee store job posting process for stores ensuring all jobs are posted timely and accurately.
  • Assist with collecting and analyzing recruitment data.
  • Serve as HR project coordinator for new store openings; ensure HR processes are setup according to go live dates.
  • Provide training to managers and associates on all processes relating to recruitment and onboarding of associates.
  • Perform day-to-day operations that include: Research, review, analysis of effectiveness and efficiency of the existing HRIS system, project management.
  • Designs and supports Workday system configuration which includes business process changes, tenant level settings, and notifications, to meet the expectations of our Talent & HR teams
  • Document processes via job aides and knowledge-based documents
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Talent Department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or 4+ years of experience in recruitment specialist/coordinator role.
  • Working knowledge of recruitment systems-experience with Workday’s recruitment platform is preferred.
  • Good communication and facilitation skills are a must.  
  • Ability to deliver recruitment and Workday process training at all levels within the organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving/resolution and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational and skills.
  • Strong computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel. Must be data savvy with solid analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions (travel & environment):

  • Limited travel required including car and air travel
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate
  • This is a hybrid position which requires 3 days in the office/2 days teleworking.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

  • Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
