The Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director of Process Improvement & Operational Readiness with tracking, planning, and preparing for upcoming initiatives that impact the stores. The Operational Readiness Coordinator will be required to adapt their approach based on the varying levels of complexity assigned to these initiatives.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to adapt to highly complex business model
Excellent communication, delegation, follow up and analytical skills
Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in managing a fast-paced environment adapting to change with a sense of urgency
Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Willing to work retail hours to include weekends, and some holidays
Willing to adjust schedule based on business needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Keep track of overall initiative portfolio planning to ensure compliance with store capacity limitations and store communication timelines.
Document initiatives progress, issues, and risks and provide feedback on prioritization of initiatives based on the overall impact to stores.
Assist with the adaptation of store-level tactical plans based on the initiative’s complexity.
Monitor progress to track adoption and roll-out success against plan through relevant KPIs.
Create, communicate, and analyze associate surveys related to the adoption of new initiatives to provide guidance on operational readiness.
Update or create store training materials, such as SOPs, Job Aids, Guides in preparation for store implementation.
Limited travel required, including air and car travel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.
Physical Work – Ability exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
