UKG Kronos Analyst

Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the UKG (Kronos) Analyst will be to serve as a subject matter expert for Workforce Central/Workforce Dimensions. This role will serve as technical support and implementation, system administration, system integration and data governance. The UKG (Kronos) Analyst will work cross functionally with HR/Legal/Store Operations/Field leaders on various workforce and compliance projects. Light project management of various add-on modules will be expected within this role. The individual selected for this role will be a crucial team member in our upgrade from Workforce Central.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred not required
  • High degree of technical expertise (at least 2 years) in the Kronos Workforce Dimensions/or Workforce Central application.
  • Minimum 3 years and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience with UKG (Kronos) Advanced Scheduling a plus
  • Knowledge of time and labor laws
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in one or more areas of Workforce Management, Project Management or Training.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Proficiency in reporting metrics/data analytics.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Interact with internal business partners, including HR Business Partners, Legal and Compliance and other upstream and downstream system owners such as Labor and Payroll, to gather and define requirements.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis of the gathered data to develop a matrix of requirements that can be satisfied by configuring the timekeeping application that qualify as a Fit and those that will require a custom solution as a Gap.
  • Configure the different modules of the timekeeping application namely Pay Policy, Accrual Policy and Attendance Policy based on the requirements to ensure compliance with labor laws and business policy.
  • Engage with IT/UKG (Kronos) to design application extensions (custom solutions) and provide end user support for multiple modules in multiple geographies.
  • Provide expertise with UKG (Kronos) Timekeeping Application.
  • Provide support to Stores, Field Teams, HR and Payroll Departments, in researching and resolving system issues and exception handling.
  • Assess processes and available tools and make recommendations for development for improving efficiency and simplification.
  • Research, format and schedule exception reporting and create ad hoc reports designed to simplify processes, improve efficiency and measure performance.
  • Instruct Stores, Field, Leadership Teams on exception reporting and tools created to improve ease and efficiency.
  • Develop training, update job aids and collaborate with the Learning department to update instructional material.
  • Confirm system updates are communicated to the applicable personnel, incorporated into training material, and implemented.
  • Identify data useful in developing performance reporting and predictive analytics.
  • Test and validate configuration within the UKG (Kronos) application.
  • General maintenance of UKG (Kronos) application from adding new stores, cost centers, job codes.

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet.
