Brand Manager, Internal Programs

Purpose

The Brand Manager will serve as a lead marketer for their designated programs, overseeing brand strategy from development through to final execution. This individual’s initial areas of focus* will include employment branding, DE&I, internal learning, and design services. They will work closely with other members of the Marketing team and their cross-functional partners to build and distribute engaging content to prospects and customers at various points in their journey, as well as assist in brand development and management.
 

Areas of focus are subject to change at the discretion of leadership.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Communications, or Journalism
  • 5+ years of Marketing or otherwise relevant work experience
  • Employment Marketing experience preferred
  • DE&I experience preferred
  • Excellent strategic planning, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven critical and creative thinking skills

Essential Functions

  • This role requires a brand publisher mindset: they help to create the content our prospects and/or customers are looking for and optimize it for channels and goals
  • Work closely with internal partners to devise brand & content strategies and develop content that aligns with campaign, brand, and/or product goals
  • Ensure quality, clarity, and consistency of brand & content
  • In partnership with Sr. Director of Content, Sr. Brand Manager & cross-functional associates, develop and edit compelling written and visual content to target appropriate prospects and/or customers
  • Work with Sr. Director of Content and Sr. Manager Brand to determine monthly and quarterly content campaigns and themes

·Work with the internal creative team (print, digital, video, photo) to ensure brand consistency and understanding of the cross-functional partner ask

  • Keep up with industry best practices and monitor competitor content
  • Measure and report performance of brand marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, strategies and tactics

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.  The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
