Senior Business Intelligence Developer

This position is responsible for developing and supporting business intelligence solutions using the latest cloud technologies, which includes understanding the needs of business stakeholders and translating those needs into enterprise data pipelines via ELT/ETL design, implementation and report and dashboard self-serving infrastructure building.


  • Leadership in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data discovery, database design/implementation and the use of statistical methods
  • Assistance with design of a new cloud data warehouse - build and support ETL/ELT processes, optimize and curate data modeling to support business reporting and self-serve reporting infrastructure.
  • Partner with leaders/stakeholders across the organization to ensure we are effectively using data and visualization tools to drive informed decision making
  • Assistance with design and development of an enterprise data architecture, in collaboration with data and security architects
  • Design and implementation of data ingestion pipelines and processes
  • Evaluation, design and implementation of self-serve reporting and advanced Machine learning, Artificial intelligence tools and products to provide rapid automation and access to data
  • Collaboration with business stakeholder teams to gather requirements for new dataset availability for self-serve reporting and data analysis.
  • Design, development, unit testing, system testing and change management for development, enhancements and fixes related to enterprise reports and processes
  • Design and development of complex SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Collaboration with ETL process owners to understand, design and implement data movements and integrations across a complex landscape of systems.
  • Ad-hoc data access and analysis to support business stakeholders
  • Development and publication of relevant standard operating procedures and technical documentation
  • Prioritize multiple projects and tasks across different business units


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field of study (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
  • A solid understanding of key Business Intelligence trends
  • Experience in building and maintaining an enterprise data warehouse and Business intelligence applications
  • Experience in data modeling concepts (e.g. Star Schema and Data Vault)
  • Advanced experience with at least one DB platform (e.g., SQL Server, DB2, Oracle or AS400/IBM iSeries) and hands-on experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with at least one ETL platform (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica, DBT)
  • Advanced experience with at least one Business Intelligence and Data Analytics platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Sisense, Cognos)
  • Manage Power BI Administration activities including Capacity Creation and Management, Deployment Pipeline creation, Data Connection creation and update, User and Group access provisioning
  • Provide Power BI training or guidance as needed to end users as part of the introduction and support of the Power BI platform
  • Provide support to report authors on visualization usage, data modeling, DAX and Power Query
  • Experience using cloud computing to build analytics applications in Azure or Snowflake
  • Experience on Big Data platforms (e.g. Spark, HBase, HDInsight, Data Bricks, Azure SQL, Snowflake)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g. UNIX shell scripting, Python)
  • 5+ years of development experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
  • Leadership skills to navigate project execution through all phases of the standard software development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and data analysis skills
  • Prior experience with collaborative design and implementation of SOX/compliance controls is preferred


This position is salaried, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week


Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Store Support Center Associates

Provide leadership and support training on all Safety programs, processes and procedures, insuring that every associate is properly trained for their position.

Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments applicable to the position. This includes participating in all Safety related training and acquiring certifications. Each associate is responsible for Safety at the Store Support Center and when visiting other company work locations. All Safety concerns must be brought to the attention of the management of a location and/or the Store Support Center Safety Department immediately.
