Supplier Diversity and Development Program Manager

The Program Manager, Supplier Diversity and Development will be responsible for supporting strategy development and leading implementation of Floor & Decor’s supplier diversity and development program. Reporting to the Senior Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and in partnership with the Senior Director, Indirect Procurement, the program manager will provide enterprise-wide guidance on policy, process, and performance indicators while integrating the enterprise program with indirect procurement. The program manager will establish, adjust, and continuously monitor and measure metrics, such as the number of diverse suppliers, total annual spend, YOY category spend movement, and diverse supplier penetration.


The program manager must be an effective, results-driven leader with program development and management experience and strong communication and relationship-building skills. The program manager must have a solid track record of excelling in fast-paced environments, when faced with ambiguity and while managing competing priorities concurrently. The program manager must be an excellent collaborator and business partner with demonstrated ability to consult with external partners and internal teams at all levels throughout the organization. The person in this role must have the ability to use discretion and good judgment in handling confidential information.



  • Design and develop Supplier Diversity & Development programming and annual initiatives to support the company’s DE&I implementation strategy
  • Partner with various Business Units (Real Estate, Construction, Facilities, Visual Merchandising, Logistics, Store Operations, etc..) to capture ongoing needs and potential diverse solutions
  • Partner with DE&I and Indirect Procurement departments to build and cultivate community outreach plans and foster key memberships, relationships, and partnerships
  • Develop and oversee key supplier development programming to strengthen the diversity supplier pipeline for F&D
  • Internally develop and present regional and category goals against define budget
  • Create protocol and processes for enhanced diverse supplier engagement
  • Identify internal opportunities and match against marketplace supplier capabilities, both current and trending
  • Serve as a regional and national representative for diversity and inclusion supplier diversity issues
  • Research and report best practices and benchmarking information in support of continuously proving the business case for national supplier diversity efforts
  • Engage leaders with executive present, organization, and communication
  • Keep current on industry trends, best practices and program development
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • 7+ years of related experience
  • CPSM/CPSD or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferred
  • Retail experience, preferred
  • Data-driven decision maker with excellent program management and organizational skills
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; proven ability to solidify and grow relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to independently and collaboratively drive execution in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive associate and business information with utmost confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time."
